Kristóf Baráti was the soloist of a tour of the Philharmonie Zuidnederland in late January 2014, with Korngold's Violin Concerto. Brilliant Classics has recorded the piece to be released with the composer's Sonata for Violin and Piano.

Kristóf Baráti performed Erich Korngold's Violin Concerto in six concerts in Holland with the South Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra (the merged Het Brabant and Limburg orchestras) under the baton of Otto Tausk in late January, 2014. The Dutch label Brilliant Classics has recorded the Eindhoven performance of the Concerto and is planning to release it, together with the composer's wonderful Sonata for Violin and Piano (composed for Karl Flesch and Artur Schnabel when Korngold was just 15) later in 2014. Kristóf Baráti will be joined in the sonata by Hungarian pianist Gábor Farkas.
