Return to legendary Marlboro Festival, solo recital in Oxford, visit to Krzyżowa in Poland to attend new festival - summer once again has been extremely busy for Dénes Várjon.

A regular participant of legendary Marlboro Festival, Dénes Várjon spent again three weeks in July at classical music's most coveted retreat in Vermont, US, at the invitation of artistic director Mitsuko Uchida. On the way back to Budapest, he stopped in Oxford for a solo recital on July 30th at Oxford Philomusica Piano Festival. He spent the second half of August and the first week of September in Krzyżowa (Kreisau) in Poland at the new Chamber Music Festival for Europe, followed by concerts with fellow festival musicians at Rheingau Festival and in Berlin.
